一. 品德教育Moral Education

品德教育是本園最為著重的課程,每學年訂了各級的品德教育,按主題推行相關遊戲、常規學習及班本的活動等,讓孩子從實踐中培養良好的品格。

Moral education is a core focus in this kindergarten. Each school year, the school will provide different themes and topics related to moral education for all kindergarten levels — relevant games and activities are implemented in daily classes, so that children can develop good character through practice.

二. 音樂藝術Music

奧福音樂 Orff music:

-認識音樂中的旋律、節奏、拍子、音階及樂器。

-在音樂遊戲中,透過故事、角色扮演及律動活動,發揮想像力及通過肢體律動來體驗學習。

To recognize melody, rhythm, tempo, scale (Do Re Mi) and musical instruments. During musical games, students learn to use their imagination and body movement through stories, role-playing and rhythmic activities.

鼓樂 Drums:

讓孩子認識及學習打鼓的技巧,從小培養幼兒的節奏感,讓孩子有全面接觸鼓樂的機會,藉著學習提升幼兒對音樂的興趣。

To cultivate children’s sense of rhythm at an early age and provide them the opportunity to have full exposure to drum playing and enhance children’s interest in music.

口琴 Harmonica:

一人一口琴的學習活動,讓孩子認識口琴的聲音及吹奏的技巧。

To understand the sound and playing skills of the harmonica. During this learning activity each child will have one harmonica.

粵劇 Cantonese Opera:

以容易上口及簡易歌詞特色的粵語兒歌,作為教學的歌曲,讓孩子認識中式的樂器、粵劇唱腔、造手及步法等,透過日常的課堂學習活動,從不同的角度認識中國文化。

To cultivate children’s learning of the Chinese culture through Cantonese nursery rhymes. With easy simple lyrics, the nursery rhymes are used to allow children to learn about Chinese musical instruments, Cantonese opera singing, with hand movements and footwork. Through daily classroom learning activities, they can learn about Chinese culture from different perspectives.

三. 主題教學Thematic Learning

各級設定的主題均以幼兒生活經驗及熟悉的事物為主,透過主題的延展活動,相關的參觀、講座及生活體驗等學習活動,讓幼兒從不同學習活動、擴闊視野,將學習活動由課室伸展至社區,更利用網圖作主題總結,鞏固幼兒對主題的認識,培養幼兒主動及自發性學習的態度。

The themes set at all levels are mainly based on children’s life experiences and daily activities. Through thematic activities, related visits, talks and life experience and other learning activities, children can learn and broaden their horizons. It extends from the classroom to the community/society, and the usage of mind maps to summarize the theme for children’s understanding as well as continuously have an active and spontaneous learning attitude.

四. 語文Language

語文推行中英文「寫作練習」及「閱讀計劃」活動,提升學生「聽、講、讀、寫」的能力及學習興趣。

Chinese and English “writing practice” and “reading practice” activities are implemented to enhance students’ “listening, speaking, reading and writing” ability and interest in learning.

五. 專科教學 Specialized Subjects

英文課堂English lesson:

由英文老師親身教授英文課程,每星期各班學生都能夠接觸不同的英文老師,目的為使幼兒能聆聽不同老師的聲音,有助孩子提升對英語聆聽能力,課堂以生動活潑的教學形式進行,讓幼兒透過學習增強英語溝通的能力及學習的興趣。

English lessons are taught by English teachers where students get to interact with different English Teachers. The purpose of having different English Teachers in class is to allow the children to hear different accents. This will enhance their English listening abilities and with the liveliness of the class, children are more interested in learning the English Language.

普通話課堂 Mandarin lesson:

利用普通話的「聲母」及「韻母」圖咭作教材,配合故事、兒歌及遊戲形式教學,加強學生對普通話的「聽、講」能力及興趣。

The usage of Putonghua’s “consonants” and “vowels” sound cards as teaching materials, with stories, nursery rhymes and games can strengthen students’ listening and speaking ability and interest in Mandarin.

日文課堂Japanese lesson:

增設日語課堂,由專業日文老師利用遊戲、唱歌形式教學,讓孩子有接觸不同國家語言的機會。

Japanese class has been added and a professional Japanese teacher uses games and singing to teach children, so that children have the opportunity to get in touch with languages ​​of different countries.

六. 資訊學習活動Technical/Information Learning Activities

-採用EVI電腦教育平台,為學生及家長提供網上學習的機會。
-推行電子圖書計劃,內容包括:「劍橋英語故事閱讀計劃」及「中文摩天輪閱讀計劃」,讓幼兒在課後與家長一同閱讀,提升親子之間關係及培養閱讀的興趣及能力。
-推行「平板電腦創新課程」,學習內容包括「中、英、數、通識、科技、藝術、品德教育及中華文化」,擴闊幼兒電子學習的範疇。

-Using the EVI online education platform can provide students and parents with online learning opportunities.
-The implementation of the e-library, includes: “Cambridge English Story” and “Chinese Ferris Wheel Reading”, these will allow children to read with their parents after class, and also enhance parent-child relationship and cultivate interest and ability in reading.
-With our “Learning Tablet”, learning contents include Chinese Language, English Language, Mathematics, General Studies, Science, Art, Moral Education and Chinese Culture.

七. 美藝創作Arts and Crafts

為幼兒設計不同類別的美藝創作活動,引導孩子欣賞名家畫作,啟發幼兒藝美藝創作的潛能。

Different types of art activities for children can guide children to appreciate famous    paintings and inspire a child’s own artistic creation.

八. 評估機制Assessment

設立持續性的評估機制,採用兒童身心發展評估、學習評估及學生家庭生活記錄表,透過持續觀察兒童學習表現作整體性評估。

Our school uses the Continuous Assessment system that has been developed to assess children’s physical and mental development, learning evaluation, student’s family life journal, and also conduct overall evaluation through continuous observation of children’s learning performance.
